Purchase Conditions

1. PURCHASE CONDITIONS: 

These conditions are concluded between, on the one hand, the company EL HILO ROJO and, on the other hand, the people who wish to make a purchase through the EL HILO ROJO website, hereinafter referred to as "the user".

The expedition of the orders will be made in the Peninsula and the Balearic Islands, except in the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla. Orders will also be shipped to peninsular Portugal, France*, Italy, Germany, United Kingdom, Austria, Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg, Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica Dominican Republic, Cuba, Dominica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Grenada, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, United States, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Saint Lucia, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay, Venezuela.


These conditions refer exclusively to natural persons who are not merchants. The parties agree that their relations will be regulated exclusively by this contract.

 

2. OBJECT

The purpose of these conditions is to define the modalities of sale between EL HILO ROJO and the user, from the order to the services, through payment and delivery. These conditions regulate all the steps necessary to place the order and guarantee the follow-up of this order between the Contracting Parties.

 

3. REQUEST

The user can place his order through the online device. From the file of any article, the desired size, color and units are selected and added to the shopping cart. 

Once all the desired items have been selected, you can check the list of the selection made in the "My Basket" window. 

If you are satisfied, proceed to place the order using the "Finish order" button. At this time you will be asked for your shipping information and payment method. 

The fact for the user of placing the order is equivalent to the full and complete acceptance of the prices, the description of the products for sale and the general conditions of sale, which will be the only ones applicable to the contract thus concluded. Any conflict on this last point will be resolved with the possibility of a possible change and the application of the guarantees mentioned below. EL HILO ROJO will process the orders BY ORDER AND THEY WILL BE FINAL SALE EXCEPT FOR A MANUFACTURING ERROR.  

 

4. DELIVERY


The delivery of orders will be made at the address indicated by the user when placing the order.

SHIPPING: in case of absence from the address, the company contracted to make the delivery will contact the user on the telephone number provided by the same when placing the order to arrange the delivery. Once the maximum storage period has elapsed, the package will be returned to EL HILO ROJO and the round trip shipping costs in case delivery is not possible for reasons beyond EL HILO ROJO will not be reimbursed to the user.

Packages cannot be delivered to a Post Office box.

EL HILO ROJO undertakes to deliver the items ordered within the established times. The average terms observed for the shipment of items made to order are approximately 30 – 45 days from the confirmation of payment of the order. The average time for delivery is approximately 3-4 days from the effective departure of the package from our warehouse for orders to be delivered in mainland Spain or Portugal. For shipments to other countries, orders will be delivered approximately between 6/8 days. 

This does not mean that circumstances may occur that delay delivery, in which case the customer will be notified as soon as possible.

The rejection of the package will generate shipping and management costs at the user's expense.

Unless the user chooses the store pick-up option, the user must add to the amount of their order a lump sum corresponding to the costs of processing the order. These additional costs are made up of fixed costs for participation in packaging and shipping costs: 

  •          Shipping to the Peninsula: Free 
  •          Shipping to the Balearic Islands: Free 
  •          Shipping to Peninsular Portugal: Free
  •          Shipping to France: €3
  •          Shipping to the United Kingdom: €10. 
  •          Shipping to Belgium and Italy: €5
  •          Shipping to Germany: €3
  •          Shipping to USA: €25
  •          Shipping to Mexico: €30

Please note that all shipments outside the EU may be subject to import duties/taxes/fees.

As we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be, the customer will be responsible for additional customs clearance charges. These charges are not included in the purchase price of EL HILO ROJO products. We will not be responsible for payment of import duties/taxes/fees under any circumstances.

 

5. PRICES

The prices on the website do not include sales taxes, and exclude shipping costs, which will be added to the total amount.

The prices must be understood in US dollars, the user will be able to change to some other international currencies to facilitate their payment. Take into account the sales tax that will be applicable on the day of the order. Any change in the applicable sales tax rate will be reflected in the product prices. The prices that will be applied are those in force at the time of validating the purchase, except in the event of manifest error. 

Prices may change at any time, but any changes will not affect orders for which we have already sent you an Order Confirmation. 

The company reserves the right to cancel the order if it contains products with erroneous prices, such as the retail price of €0.

 

6. GUARANTEES


The items are all made to order and therefore cannot be returned. It can only be exchanged or refunded in cases of manufacturing error or El Hilo Rojo service. The transport costs originated by the change or by the return due to dissatisfaction by the client will be borne by the user.
If the change or return was due to an error on the part of EL HILO ROJO services, EL HILO ROJO would reimburse the return costs.

Upon receipt of a defective product, the user must inform customer service info@elhilorojoatelier.com about what happened and EL HILO ROJO will process the collection or solution of the case. The user's shipping costs will not be assumed.
